The Partition

Sree Sree Thakur desperately wanted to stave off the partition of India as he foresaw the evils it would spawn. But the stalwarts of Indian politics with whom he talked again and again and even offered strategies to sort out the problems of communalism were not convinced. Petty politics and shortsighted decisions prevailed. The result is that, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh are faced with problems that can be ascribed to the partition only.
